Being an IT veteran and mobile enthusiastic prompts me to explore this new frontier. Traditional IT can greatly benefit from dynamic, mobile front-end that allows for easy access to data, agile analysis and friendly display.
My current mobile IT apps are part of series of apps aimed at closing this gap.
There are currently two apps aimed for SNMP -
Providing the essential Android OS information such as memory / cpu usage, installed apps, current location
Capable of discovering device components such as interfaces, file systems etc. and alerting you when a file system is nearing full capacity
And one app for ActiveMQ -
Allowing you to test the health of your ActiveMQ server by sending and receiving STOMP message
